A community that reads and that thinks, that is reappointed with that very special space that is the “agora”, the square in its ancient conception, as a meeting and exchange, where the word becomes dialectic and bond, and the shared memory becomes wealth: all this, and much more, has emerged in the five evenings of the review “La square and the book” of Acri, which has also become a literary prize this year, promoted by the municipal administration, in the Cultura, poesia, não -ficção e articulações narrativas.
A primeira edição do prêmio foi conquistada – no julgamento inquestionável do júri, presidido pelo Prof. CARLO FANELLI (Dessual associado) – Por Anna Mallamo, Reggina, jornalista da Gazzetta, com seu romance “Eu vejo com o escuro” (Einaudi, 2025). A cerimônia de premiação ocorreu no final da noite final participativa, após a mesa redonda que refazia a revisão e seus temas fundamentais, evocando as figuras do jurista e poeta Giuseppe Antonio Arena, para quem o prêmio é nomeado, mas também por Vincenzo Padula e Pierpaolo Pasolini. O prêmio foi concedido pelo prefeito Pino Capalbo.
